everything heās said over the past few weeks make it hard to support him but the art speaks a different story
What has he said thats a dealbreaker
Heās saying a whole lot of nothing in this.
Wouldnāt be surprised if he ends up back in jail atp lol
As Thug gets older, I continue to appreciate Future's longevity more and more. Future dropped Hndrxx + Future at Thug's age while Thug is currently lost musically
Future always been better.
HNDRXX prolly the best rap album of the 2010s for me hard to see thug beating that

I still personally think Thug peaked higher with his earlier stuff
I like how clear his voice sounds on this
Sticking true to that one tweet about rapping with more clarity

Fair take. Aināt gonna hate on that
Ehh Gucci's was alright - he did have a big single tho but he wasn't back like he was before jail
Part of it is that he did do a more behind scenes position tho after like his 2nd project out of jail
I'd give it a half point - not a failure but could have been way better
The thread I did about it went in depth about it too, Rappers that go to jail 3 years+ always come out as a flop or way below hype
Rappers in jail for about 1 or 2 years get about one big single and maybe a decent project then flop or go way below hype from then on
While 2pac, Wayne and Xxx, our only real success stories, were in jail less than a year that were able to go just as well or even bigger than before they went to jail
It's pretty wild tbh, especially since lot of people for some reason act like it's free publicity and a shoe-in, probably because of Wayne and 2Pac then it gets exaggerated as the norm
What about Drakeo? Mozzy? Peysoh, too?
Hope this negro ran this across his legal team before releasing it.
No chance
Only like 2 Rappers that were fully sentences to jail while being a known artist have came out and still be successful or bigger
2Pac and Wayne - and they had to do so much work for it, Wayne pre jail preparing and 2pac after jail just flooding
Hm to xxxtentacion if you count his popularity being relevant enough before he went to jail
Rappers going to jail then coming out successful is unfortunately a myth that keeps getting pushed for some reason
I did a thread about it during Covid too
I donāt see why he couldnāt just go back to making great music again, he wouldāve been successful if the output was good.
I guess prison changes you and your priorities. Thug is now just bitter and artistically lost
