These type of decisions are already set in stone way before the rollout begins, thatâs just how business works in the real world with logistics and making sure there are no issues come show/rollout time.
Like you know rollout week/month doesnât mean thatâs when they started making decisions, right? Cause if not you are highly misinformed on how business works lol
The cancelation is a result of the pre planned logistics being met with immense pushback and theyâd rather save face than deal with another controversy
My point is that it absolutely should work that way and corners seem like theyâre being cut in this case.
The best indicator that youâre right about how this SHOULD work and that plans were made, but werenât followed as closely as they shouldâve been is the evidence of classes in the code dating back to when the billboards (which also were obviously pointing to 7/21 in hindsight) were first going up. I work in digital marketing and they were clearly set up for versioning based on a go-ahead call on the day. It looks like theyâve been waiting for the Travis tweets or launching alongside internal approval for those tweets as they come.
I mean weâre on a Kanye fan site - in the current era, artists love to play fast and loose with timelines if they can for the mystique. Itâs not a good way to work by any means, but itâs real as well as the long-term planning on the background around those creative calls.
