He promised it'd be today!The room murmurs in agreement. Rex steps forward, trembling with anticipation and frustration.

Travis, we were all really looking forward to it...Travis flickers his stage lights, a sign of being uncomfortable under the spotlight. He raises his mini auto-tune mic, but says nothing.

(irritated)
That's it? No explanation, no apology?With the room waiting for a response, Travis finally manages to find his voice.
TRAVIS
(awkwardly)
Straight up?A collective sigh of exasperation echoes through the room. The toys begin to disperse, their hopes dashed for now.

(trying to keep the peace)
Alright, folks. Let's give Travis some time. We'll see the trailer when we see it.The room gradually empties, leaving Travis alone with his unfulfilled promise. As his lights dim, it's clear he's got some thinking to do.

Have been a Travis fan since Owl Pharaoh on SoundCloud in high school. Remember the rollercoaster that was Astroworld releasing in 2018, was living in LA at the time. I currently live in New York, literally a decade of fan ship and I scroll this forum when I take a s*** and see these estrogen filled soy boys complaining abt how some 5’10 b**** who doesn’t give a f*** abt any of you isn’t dropping the album. Even though I'm very firmly a non-believer, I don't mind some Utopian music. Aretha Franklin for example made some bangin' worship tunes. I'm even a fan of "Jesus Walks" off of Kanye's first record.
But I sure as hell won't listen to a f***ing millionaire preaching to me about miracles. F*** you. I'm not f***ing having it. This is so depraved and disingenuous. I'd rather put on Rodeo or Astroworld again. F*** this
