breadRespectfully OG Lost Forever is the only reason I ever got as excited for Utopia as I did. It was perfect exactly as it was but I guess he felt the need to prove himself as we already heard the song and “surprise” us with a completely unnecessary beat change that just about ruins the song.
The fact that apparently Alchemist produced the 2nd beat and I’m saying this goes to show how perfect that original version was
that second beat has to be the most cliched "dark coke rap" type beat ive heard in a minute. genuinely ruined the song lmao

kanye community had some random clip of some hogwash random mumble freestyle taken on an iPhone and used fit matching to realize that travis was sitting at the table in the background and then figured out it was the same day as the delresto stems that kanye was sent and same bpm and key so we found an original delresto kanye freestyle by accident (its literally one line repeated for 30 seconds)
