    I don’t think two things being similar (like Parasail and Call Drops) means that it inspired the other. I really don’t think Travis was in the studio listening to Testing while making Utopia lmao

    Also Travis had a dollar sign in his name before anybody even knew who rocky was this is his mixtape cover from 09

    I do think his early aesthetics and fashion style was inspired by Rocky for sure but I just think people drag it too much when musically I think Travis has a much larger scope of ideas than Rocky

    Now as far as him being a mix of Cudi and Ye absolutely this new album shows it but tbh I think hes on par w Cudi in his prime

    People are gonna start clowning Trav for not writing this now But yeah this is one of the best songs on the album for sure

    I didn’t even know what he was saying on the song so don’t really mind, also like what he did with the delivery and inflection. Really improved it as opposed to just reciting it

    And yea def my favorite

    I think my biggest gripe with meltdown is it’s the first song in the track list that sounds like it’s on a rap album. Like all the songs prior feel bigger than hip hop. Like they feel special then meltdown comes on and it feels like it could be on any rap album. Also the hook sucks and the beat at the beginning is great but gets progressively worse
