Wanted to sit more with the album before articulating my thoughts since the first listen is always deceiving.

Such a special project man. I love all the tracks, Travis evolved so hard in all fields on here. Production nothing short of amazing, his verses have become wayyyy more interesting whereas on some older tracks you’d feel like it’s just there to fill a void between hooks. Song structure on here is a work of art. It all feels like a play with sudden unexpected twists and turns to the scenario. On first listen I disliked Topia Twins and Meltdown but when I revisited it later these tracks are so fun. Definitely worth the wait and matched the hype which was a damn mountain to climb.

To me Travis been holding the torch from Kanye ever since Rodeo maybe but this serves as confirmation to anyone who had doubts. I now feel like that little pocket of music that I’ve always loved and adored is in a safe place with him.

AOTY, now, tomorrow and for the rest of the year. I doubt anything can compete with this for me. Only Drake and Carti albums can come close but still. I can’t see it.
