Features definitely take much more a backseat here than they did on Birds/Astroworld.
I feel like part of the reasoning for that approach is so that Travis has more parts to perform live from these songs rather than dedicating too much time to guests

He now seems to enjoy a certain austerity, as on âI KNOW ?â and âLOST FOREVER,â but remains incapable of completely escaping the maximalist thrills of his past.
The deliberately concealed guest list contains quite a few stars and superstars, and shrewd listeners may enjoy trying to identify them all without a cheat sheet. Drakeâs unmistakable baritone leads the shape-shifting âMELTDOWN,â while Playboi Carti unspools his magnificent mumble over the buzzy âFE!N.â But when BeyoncĂŠ arrives for âDELRESTO (ECHOES),â its muted club contents echoing her own dance music renaissance, she provides a big diva energy that luxuriates amid Scottâs cutting edge.
