Kind of sad that he already reached the point in his career where he has to rely on nostalgia
The artwork is such a blatant remake of rodeo, have some shame, don’t let everyone know you’re chasing the past
This like saying kanye abusing nostalgia by reusing the bear on his cover
" I made Italian bread like I made dough"
8th grade lunchroom cypher tier bar. I get he's not lyrical, but holy s***
lyrically this is his worst by a country mile imo
Its actually his best hope this helps
lyrically this is his worst by a country mile imo
By a country mile?
God country, this is war.
When drake is having problems with someone it gets to his head quick and he ends up not knowing when to leave well enough alone
this intro is still crazy
This like saying kanye abusing nostalgia by reusing the bear on his cover
It would be but he left that behind after 3 years of his career because he didn’t wanna do that and be lame
Trav on the other hand is almost a decade in
This would be like if Yeezus had the bear on it
Kind of sad that he already reached the point in his career where he has to rely on nostalgia
The artwork is such a blatant remake of rodeo, have some shame, don’t let everyone know you’re chasing the past
are you stupid
When drake is having problems with someone it gets to his head quick and he ends up not knowing when to leave well enough alone
Armchair psychologists ITT
Been wanting your take on the album
Only on my second listen
It’s cool and it’s ambitious which I like
Production is a little too much at times but generally is ridiculously nice
Travis rapping is cool but he’s not a great rapper and sometimes as crazy as it sounds w like 30 features on here I think more guest verses would’ve helped break things up more than just throwing beat switches does
I think he f***ed up Lost Forever which I’m sad about - best part of that song was how much space it has and he just crammed his verse in immediately and threw a beat switch in there
That being said I think it’s good-great and will prob grow on me. Almost definitely better than astroworld imo and way more interesting and progressive for Travis than that album was
