Well obviously it’s different depending on your parents...some parents don’t give af but I just thought maybe your parents were a lil stricter/awkward like mine...they had said once that they didn’t want any girls in my room when I was a freshman and since then, I had been hesitant ...now I don’t think it’s a big deal now I’m 22 and would take my recent ex upstairs no problem...never to smash tho but I prolly could’ve tbh

And girls love meeting parents so it wouldn’t hurt to introduce her to them but I guess that’s mainly if it s a serious relationship
