Reddit killing 3rd party apps, which removes many mod tools and is the only way some can use reddit, in order to force ad revenue increases right before they go public and presumably sell off the site before it's worth collapses

Again man I don't even understand what the point of using a third-party app for Reddit even is unless you one of them vision impaired people.

All this s*** about third-party apps really comes down to people using Reddit way too much over s*** that can easily be ignored or turned off. So I ask again...what even is the f***in point of these third party apps

You can literally ignore or not take part in any of these things within the app...infact, the app itself has settings that let you turn off live videos. I haven't seen anything about NFTs since I blocked that s*** the day they announced it'd be a thing. Y'all really using third party apps over....snoos? The thing that the app itself says you don't have to use?

I just never had problems with these things people are using third-party apps for...like saving and downloading posts is hard on the app? You can literally download posts just off the app. The option to do it is right in the top corner of the post. S***, I'm finna download some of big tiddy goth vids and gifs I saved this morning

From what I remember the videos download in a weird format that sharing it after its downloaded doesn't play for others. Tbh no ads itself is worth having an app alone
