I see what you mean OP, i personally like all of his records except SB2H. I love how his voice sounds and the melodies he comes up with. Besides that i've always been a fan of the plain pat / dot da genius / emile haynie production sound that comes with cudi's music. it really depends on what you're looking for as a listener whether you think hes overrated or not, so i do understand why people would call him trash tbh
