Eh LR is still 15 minutes shorter than Donda even if you remove the Pt. 2's from it. I also think there's definitely some songs that could have been cut here. I think if he trimmed it down to 15-16 it would have been beneficial to the overall feel of the project.
Pop Smoke track the only skip on the album to me. Songs I didn't like 3 weeks ago are now amazing to me (I've been listening to all these songs since the 2nd ATL event)
This is hilarious to watch after seeing what Kanye stans were saying about long vs short albums before

ehh i think just because something isn't a skip and is a good song doesnt inherently mean it's uncuttable. i'd rather 15 great songs before 15 great songs and 5 good ones.
It is far too long. I’ve given it 3 full listens. First listen I was pleasantly surprised, but by the third listen more was standing out that I didn’t like. In all it’s good, better than the last two, but TLOP is a lot better IMO
like, just do something focused and drop something else in a month if you got more songs. i cant take another 2 hour slog of everything ye throws at the wall. hate this kitchen sink s***
why cant ye just do 7 songs about his divorce, then 7 songs with organ beats, then a drill project, etc etc
he should never get in "magnum opus" mode again s*** corny
Sounds like you missed my the MBDTF era and you want to witness. Sorry
IF I had to make it 7 tracks I’d probably go
Hurricane
Moon
Believe what I say
Remote control
Jesus lord
Off the grid
Pure souls
People trying to normalize albums being almost 2 hour in length is wild as hell but I expect nothing less from ye stans
Ya do know albums used to be extremely long back in the day lmao
You guys are way too critical of kanye lol
Almost like this is a forum dedicated to Kanye or something idk
Honestly
I dont think it should be cut
But if you listen to it and cant listen to it in full
24 is a good stopping point
IF I had to make it 7 tracks I’d probably go
Hurricane
Moon
Believe what I say
Remote control
Jesus lord
Off the grid
Pure souls
My pt 2 would be
No child left behind
Praise god
Junya
Ok ok
New again
Heaven and hell
Jail
And for the third part I’d just throw whatever’s left
You guys are way too critical of kanye lol
Thankfully the majority of reception has been positive
this is true
yeezus was f***ing great because it was so focused
TLOP was super eclectic but it worked because there were no rules
this s*** is stupid tho. everything is half assed. cant go all the way in on the drill s*** bc its a christian album, cant go all they way in on the production bc u need to use organs, etc. its not focused at all yet theres still a billion guidelines he's set for himself, most of them conflicting.
Man close to 19 of the songs uses organs or pianos, a lot of the songs share similarities in production, elements and themes than you're letting on. I will give u that it isn't sequenced the best tho
i dont understand how anyone can HATE donda, its objectively a 'kanye'-esque album. this is the album people wished for when they say they missed the old kanye. like you have to be a new fan to hate this album
Wha wha
It’s too many songs on the kanye album
Boo hoo 😂
It’s called a playlist nigga, make ur own album
btw people hated yeezus when it came out, and now its considered one of the most innovative albums. people hated TLOP when it first came out too. give it a few years and all these haters will change their mind.
Niggas be hatin on anything too much yo ass complainin too little yo ass demandin more f*** u on about b****
