felt like id be a bit bored and lost with it if i hadnt loved the games

It ain't essential viewing at all but I had a good time with it by the end

Haven't played the games or read the books, I was a lil bored and lost at some parts tbh

I still like this show for what it is.

However, it should be much better for the budget it has.

Netflix feeling themself

As someone who never played any games or read the books: 7.5/10 for me

Great action and exploration. It really feels like you're in some sort of 'questing' video game running through all these different short adventures. That part is really cool. Great acting, visually immersive.

But some of the world-building gets hard to follow and a lot of the character development feels predictable and lackluster imo. I think thats just a consequence of constantly moving from one 'quest' to the next.

You should definitely play 2

Need more QTE action scenes like the one at the end of episode 1 in season 1

so basically he isnt doing MCU

Show is alright but it did convince me to finally play Witcher 3 which is the one of the best games OAT. Hopefully they brought in some better writers for S3.
