Also, this Trilogy is defo on track to be better, nostalgia is a big thing when comparing the two, but from a holistic standpoint..

After Hours = House of Balloons - theres also lots of parallels between the two, with After Hours being a return to the moody sound (not the whole album) that House of Balloons introduced us to

Dawn FM > Thursday - again, parallels. Dawn and Thursday were both a lot more experimental sonically.

Also side question, how long do you think he’s had the idea for a Trilogy?

I reckon since he scrapped that ’happy’ album in 2017

Wasn’t My Dear Melancholy meant to be followed up by another EP? I think it was We’re Alone?
