If Wake Me Up isn't a scrapped song then it's over, this song doesn't have anything special, and we already have tmb, I feel like this song is shaped to be a hit but doesn't actually sound like one. Dawn FM wasn't a disaster because the critics liked it, but that doesn't change the fact that the album flopped.

Yeah wake me up is easily better than TMB but it does sound like the standard Abel pop song which I’ve grown tired of. Like if In your eyes came out today I don’t think I’d even like it as much as I did in 2020
