He is doing the score with OPN so he will be busy with that
I'm about to c**
Bruh really working with one of the hardest actors out rn⌠no oneâs really doing it like him fr
Acclaimed composer and producer OPN (real name Daniel Lopatin) will be scoring the film alongside The Weeknd. OPN has previously done the scores for Good Time and Uncut Gems.
Makes more sense now

How's that his feature film debut when uncut gems exists

I guess they mean with him having like a main character role
we won so hard
OPN working on 2 scores and an album rn my 2 favorite artists going crazy
I guess they mean with him having like a main character role
Makes sense yeah and he was playing his self in uncut gems so it was a bit weird
My prediction has been its an EP like My Dear Melancholy
no way he's gonna release an EP as final project for the trilogy
no way he's gonna release an EP as final project for the trilogy
why not?
Wouldnât really be a trilogy then
He calls each project Chapters, doesnât matter if its an album or EP. He called My Dear Melancholy chapter V

I know, but he never once referred to Dawn FM as Chapter VII, and he started the After Hours rollout by calling it Chapter VI and said this before it started:
Which means this new trilogy is one big chapter, so the final project being an EP rather than an album wouldnât make sense
Honestly with the movie heâs doing, it could be. Or at least his last album for an extended period of time while he pivots fully into the film industry

We riot. This ain't a menace, issa fact.
I really hope that Horizon isnât an EP.
I would understand it, since heâs so busy and it must be hard finding places for the story to go when the Character reaches Heaven, but I think even just adding 4 more tracks, making it an album of 10, would be so much better in the grand scheme of the entire trilogy.
However, with that being said, I also wouldnât want him to force himself to add 4 more âehâ tracks to the project, if heâs only inspired for around 6 songs. Always cut the fat with music projects, even if all youâre left with is an EP.
In the end though, I donât think we have much to worry about regarding the EP stuff. Something like that would be so out of left field that he probably would announce it as soon as possible to minimize disappointment and backlash. So much so, that I think we would already know if it was planned to be an EP.
Iâm getting kinda excited, tbh. If the Character truly reaches Heaven in this one, and they play Heaven straight, this might be the first EVER primarily happy and positive Weeknd album we have ever gotten, with no hints of melancholy or regret or anything.
Thatâs exciting to me on the basis of curiosity alone, tbh. But I also really think that it could be nice to hear Able truly happy, and if it is a send off for a while, since heâll be busy with movies and stuff, then it will be a nice send off for sure
This one finna be trilogy dark
Mans on his bs again
Nah, donât let faux outrage get in your head
