bruh am i hallucinating. i listened to the abyss for the first time in months and it sounds incredible??? only gripe is still that 15 second of demo vocals. i remember that the album mixing was updated few days/weeks after release so maybe i haven't listened to the album after that in full. even the drums sound great, back then i remember the 808s sounded very flat
