Nah this is the best out of this new trilogy 100%, y'all are tripping.
The lyrics on HUT are the best out of the 3, I love the risk that this record takes from a production and songwriting pov.
YES, it's long as f*** though
i disagree, dawn is way riskier and unusual for him, this album is a back to basics retread with some innovation.

Dawn is riskier and unusual for him? Itâs basically all the 80s stuff heâs dabbled in his whole career on one album. Also, donât get me wrong, itâs my second favorite album of his after HUT but I donât see how that album is out of his modus operandi
my favorite genre of music - 80s stuff he dabbled in
lol. niggas think putting an umbrella term for s*** is a cheatcode.
that's like putting depeche mode music and mj s*** on one album and saying oh yeah it's just 80s music man!!!!

Any time thereâs synths in a pop song it automatically just gets classified as â80âs musicâ now lol. Hate how thatâs become a new thing the past few years.

oh brother
the glaze sesh has started. he is for sure getting 5 nominations+ next year

Target Exclusive was better

I mean⌠are they wrong to call that an iconic album cover of the 2020s?

Same way any 16th hi hat pattern has been getting called âtrapâ since the mid-2010s
Most people have no idea how to categorize music outside of a surface level
The album is a surefire lock to win âUrban Progressive R&B Albumâ or whatever the thinly veiled racist category is called. Thatâll be their AH makeup. It might get an AOTY nomination (mostly because this year has been painfully barren for mainstream albums and the eligibility period ends in two months), but itâs not winning anything other than that one category

they aren't. it's the best cover of 2020s
