I aint gonna lie bro this one hurts….

I should have known he would bend over for anything when he signed with WME again... I would recommend anyone to do their own research.
I have chosen to delete everything that has to do with him and will not return here before I see him step away from these brands and do something that shows he at least has a backbone.
I still don't support H&M to this day even though they changed their board they still support gen0cide!

This movie STUNK but I respect him getting out of his comfort zone and trying s*** lik this. Used to be a big fan of this guy and never thought he'd ever be doing s*** like this. Even though he failed, it inspires me to try new things

Finally got to see it! Personally I think I had a bit too high of expectations, but nonetheless I thoroughly enjoyed my viewing experience. A few things to shoot off my brain;

There were a few awkward and really unnecessary scenes (the Blinding Lights + Gasoline one being the biggest culprit although I understand why it’s there), the pacing doesn’t allow for much character development, and some of the dialogue just doesn’t cut it.

The camerawork is great (besides the club scenes, Jesus), Abel’s performance wasn’t breathtaking but absolutely an improvement from Idol, and it was very audibly pleasing hearing those songs/instrumentals in a theater setting.

Overall, this film moves the pendulum in a much better direction, but I truly don’t see an incentive for a non Abel fan to go see it. Now if he is looking to make the impact that it seems he’s trying to make in the film world, I’d be willing to bet he’ll learn so much more working under the wing of a much more tenured director rather than constantly trying to be the head of the snake. It frustrates me seeing flaws that are easily gonna turn people away, because I think Abel is way more talented of an actor than the average person gives him credit for. I just wish it was utilized better than these last two projects…..that being said, already scheduling my next showtimes

This is going to sound surreal, I just need to get something off my chest.

Since 2018, I’ve been having intense, vivid dreams — not just random ones, but the kind that stay with you, almost like memories. They started with themes from my childhood: abandonment, isolation, and this constant sense of being watched. Later, in 2019, The Weeknd started appearing in my dreams. At first, it was comforting — like we really knew each other. Then came anxiety, distance, and an eerie sense of connection I couldn’t shake.

From 2021 to 2023, I kept dreaming of this strange Victorian-style house. I visited it repeatedly. Eventually, I met a young boy there — quiet, intense, almost angry. The last time I saw him, he looked exactly like a young Abel.

Here’s the part that truly haunts me: Last year, The Weeknd began speaking about his dreams and his childhood, and now this film. visuals from my dreams — the house, the feelings, even specific emotional beats — started showing up in his work. It feels like he was dreaming them too, or somehow knew.

I think I’ve made sense of what this means now, or Maybe it’s nothing. But if any of you theorize about his music, his films, or believe in dream connections — has anything like this ever happened to you?

I just need to put this out there and maybe find someone else has felt something similar.

It’s just such a bummer that when he FINALLY starts getting out of his shell in the public is when the hate on him gets to an all time high. Some of the stuff being said about him now is just nasty.
