I honestly enjoyed the film a lot. I think the first true red flag though was when an interviewer asked Jenna to describe the film and all she could say was that it’s “open ended”

I think he'll be better off just being an executive producer or maybe co-writing some stuff. Acting isn't for everybody tbh. SZA landed her first major acting gig and she knocked it out the park. Lady Gaga and Janelle Monae are also decent actors. Abel simply isn't that and it's OKAY lol. I don't know why he keeps forcing it to happen but it'll only work if his acting gets better. Seems like people have already written him off, though and I know Hollywood isn't taking him seriously as an actor after this but he's a famous, rich musician so he'll keep landing roles as long as he wants.

It’s literally 95% cuz of The Idol lol. Before that he was pretty much unanimously loved.

It is open ended, but why is that a red flag? I know general audiences hate ambiguity, but unless you’re a huge studio like Marvel or Disney trying to make money— that doesn’t really matter.

Is the treatment he gets for his acting endavors any different than what most major celebs go through, unfortunately? When the public finds something to ridicule, it doesn't really matter how loved you were before. A lot of people just want to be a part of something lol.
