When you look at what dominated the pop music landscape in all of 2024, he and his music are the complete opposite of all of those things

In hindsight Cry For Me, Open Hearts or Society would’ve been an A+ choice compared to the C- that was DITF

All great songs, but none of them would’ve done any damage on the charts though

DITF was the most alike of all of the major pop hits of 2024, so I get why that was their first choice

Not saying they would’ve smashed like Blinding Lights, but if people’s first audio introduction to this era was any of those songs then I could’ve definitely seen it having Timeless-like success
