i can only speak for myself, but i really just don't care about the dude's music like that anymore and just don't care to see them two collabing anymore
He definitely fell off creatively a while ago. But it would still be interesting to hear the global superstar version of The Weeknd collab with Drake, we never got that

That shouldâve happened back in 2015-17 imo

we don't need it
@op are you gonna add the bonus tracks to op
i guess i can yeah
would be nice imo
Able does not need to collab with modern era washed up Drake imo.
Able is growing more and more as a person and artist, while drake is the same as ever, topic and execution wise, if not worse.
I canât think of anything a Drake verse or hook would add to any song on HUT. Even if he would fit well on some of the beats, what Able did with the beats is different than what Drake would do with them, and also better than what Drake would do with them.
We donât need 38 y/o Drake lyrics about double texting and threatening the women in his life with emotional attacks on a Weeknd project

I know Able has songs where he is toxic in the past, specifically to romantic partners, but itâs handled in a much more artistic way, imo.
The way it is framed in the songwriting and in the music makes it seem like we are observing something awful and tragic, and that there is clearly a problem with him that is causing it.
Early Drake was like that too. We can relate to Marvinâs Room, but we donât want to emulate it.
Compare that to modern era Drake, however. Since about Views, his toxic moments have slowly but surely shifted from being an honest and unflattering depiction of his life and who he is, meant for posterity and to help others learn from his mistakes, to being stuff he seems proud of and wants the listener to think is cool.
Like that song (donât remember which one, I havenât heard Views in an eternity) where Drake is seeing a girl from a poorer background and threatens to âsend her backâ if she âacts up.â If that was Able or old Drake, that would rightfully be presented as a toxic and f***ed up thing to do, and likely would be followed up with introspection. However with modern Drake, itâs just something super cool that Drake does, you guys!
Idk if this was helpful, but I hope this helps explain why I donât want Drake near a Weeknd project until he shapes up
We do
We don't need it. You just want it. You need water. You don't need Drake & Abel doing a modern Live For
