Difficult question : which has the higher highs AH or HUT?
After Hours vs Baptized In Fear
After Hours vs Baptized In Fear
Oh thatâs a very very easy question for me.
Only song which comes close for me to AH title track is without a warning
This one is a lot more cinematic, thematic, the sound is a lot richer imo. I never disliked the electronic influence on Dawn, I just felt like it didnât sound the way I wanted to. Even though this is sort of a foray into the same direction I feel like itâs much more masterfully executed
Closing Night is nice, can see why it was cut. Do we think this is it or is he gonna push out one more bonus version with In Heaven?
Noticing too, all the cut songs from the final tracklist are all in a similar uptempo/mainstream poppy vein
We got the production credits for closing night why canât we get production for runaway and society
The only thing I'm curious about is... was the album really this unfinished like 4 months ago? lol
It couldâve been, which if in all honesty he really did the rest in 4 months heâs kinda a genius
You nailed it, dawn was so poppy and commercial sounding compared to this album, remember i was s***ting on it and ppl in the first impressions thread got mad.
HUT on the other hand feels like the Rodeo of pop music to me, so atmospheric and dark. I instantly got THAT feeling at Cry for me that he's not playing this time
Rodeo comparison makes a lot of sense tbh I kinda know exactly what you mean
definitely. give me mercy and drive are so out of place between big sleep and abyss. in contrast with the first and second part of the album, it just feels unsatisfying lol
I think thematically itâs supposed to be the acceptance part of the album but overall it does fall a little flat after the masterpiece that comes before it
definitely. give me mercy and drive are so out of place between big sleep and abyss. in contrast with the first and second part of the album, it just feels unsatisfying lol
Listen to album backwards
Difficult question : which has the higher highs AH or HUT?
Razor thin margin, but Iâd say HUT.
Difficult question : which has the higher highs AH or HUT?
Hurry up close though

I liked Give Me Mercy after Big Sleep.
One of the most hopeful spots of the album right after one of the most hopeless; it stops things from feeling too one note and keeps the emotional journey dynamic, while reminding us that Able is still fighting and has not given up completely
Are we still expecting a deluxe of this on streaming ? After all those special edition vinyls
a bit more in depth than your usual youtuber, she knows her s***
PT .2

killed it
I can see the real you, girl
You don't have to hide
Forget 'bout what your daddy said
I'll teach you how to shine
And all the things you tolerated, made you cold inside
But I can light you up again like embers of a fire
It doesn't phase you
I need a breakthrough
I only want what's right in front of me
It's quite unusual
Seeking approval
Begging for it desperately
I said
How do I make you love me? (Make you love me)
How do I make you fall for me? (How do I make you fall?)
How do I make you want me
And make it last eternally?

After Hours title track still the most powerful song of this trilogy btw
Maybe his best song ever
