I think it’s just the intro section. When the drums drop, it sounds like it’s at a proper volume level. It seems to be an intentional choice for dynamic purposes

On another note, I've just recently noticed the whispering voice repeating his sung lines at the beginning of Reflections Laughing, amazing little detail

how that fat & juicy turd of a song gettin any plays is beyond me

You can tell how proud Mike Dean is of his work on this

I feel like even though we all know him as a legend, hes kind of been seen by the public as just “kanye’s producer” whereas on this hes a star in his own right
