"Figure in the corner I can't quite see
I just know the shadow's staring at me
It gets closer, it gets closer, it gets closer now"

i like the album enough but score aside if they're ranking it the lowest of his studio albums, i agree there
a whole "point" lower than mr. morale, maybe not
Yeah I agree. I donât believe itâs his best, but anything under a 7 just feels like a low ball. Thereâs a good 8-9 songs with good to high replay value imo.

Interisting fact... So far the videos have referenced the previous songs...
Red Terror references The Abyss (and the movie)
Open Hearts references Baptized In Fear
Letting the album grow on me. Great production and some great songs on here, but a bit too melodramatic & full on pop for my taste. Thereâs barely any ârealâ R&B on here imo. Still the best male pop star out by FAR.
Open Hearts, Cry For Me, Drive, Take Me Back to LA, & The Abyss are my top 5 so far
Baptized in Fear honorable mention, his voice sound so good on that one.
wait he did Give Me Mercy too? had no idea. weeknd/max/oscar is the formula
Eh
Plenty of amazing songs on here that werenât produced by them. Iâd say Dean / Daniel is a more proven formula than max / Oscar but open hearts is certainly amazing
Not sure if anyone posted in here. But Tommy Rush been tweeting / responding to a lot of people about Dolby Atmos. If you have AirPods Pro / Max and have Atmos on, turn on sound check as well
For real. Especially Without a Warning, heâs telling us heâs so done with this Weeknd s*** and he canât wait for it to be over.
Itâs really amazing he made sure he gave us such quality on the last one when he seems desperate to check out and start again fresh. But all he has is his legacyâŚ
Now I can finish a sentence
Now Iâm articulate, baby
And I enunciate, baby
And I eviscerate my enemies and piss on they grave.

Respect your critique, I found the last two albums too pop for my taste. Hurry up has the best variety for me
Opening Night
Niagara
Enjoy the show
Are top tier weeknd rnb imo
the orange eye aesthetic heâs going with in the videos/performances reminds me so much of kingdom hearts lmao
i had some doubts after the singles but this album is insane
might be recency bias talking but it has a real shout for being his best album
