Captain of no leaks / singles crew checking in! Just finished my first listen… initial thoughts having never listened to any of these songs before.

First half up to Opening Nights feels like a mix of Kiss Land x BBTM x Dawn FM. I’m no mixtapes / Trilogy purist, so I don’t mind that there are scant traces of mixtape-era Weeknd here (Reflections and Laughing is the first obvious one).

Very cinematic soundscape. I like the little details, like how the Stranger Things-sounding outro of Given Up on Me transitions into I Can’t Wait to Get There to break up two slow songs. Though I don’t like the latter, that and Drive felt like the only skips to me.

Transitions were obviously flawless annd features all fit perfectly. The sequencing is solid until Given Up on Me, that one feels out of place but not sure where else I would place it.

I couldn’t have imagined a better outro & closing chapter for this era. Can’t wait to play this back & sit with it for the years to come.

I've always enjoyed his hits and big features but for some reason I've never really loved any of the albums since trilogy. This is the one the changed it for me I get it now

The only songs I might skip sometime are Sao Paolo, Timeless and enjoy the show. Apart from that I can’t stop listening to the whole album in order.
