I remember not being a weeknd fan at all, even throughout the BBTM rollout when Often, Can't Feel My Face, and The Hills were playing everywhere. Then the "Starboy" music video dropped and I decided to check it out. Had that song on repeat for WEEKS, and the rest is history

Starboy era marked a rebirth for The Weeknd (He got rid of the hair and went full "popstar")
Right before the release of Dawn FM he released the music video for Die For You (Starboy track) where he is a kid with the purple cross (He will be reborn for the Genesis album as well)

These emojis belong to the Starboy era and they are back again and have been sprinkled through the After Hours and Dawn era too
The "marketing" for Starboy was that it was a futuristic sound and it's the same for Genesis
He collaborated with a french house duo (Daft Punk) on Starboy and is doing the same on Genesis with Justice
