Randy OrtonCan someone explain what this means? I’m so out of touch man I just listen to my music and go
artists have to wait months after the album is submitted for vinyls to be produced. they don't like waiting that long between finishing the album and releasing it, but they still want big first week sales, so to remedy this they submit an unfinished album and put that out as the "first pressing" vinyl. then streaming services and subsequent pressings get the finished album.
