Yeah the remake definitely improves on the world, character interactions, minigames. Just everything overall. I’m just not a fan of the narrative direction personally and that’s what I loved about the OG. Overall still a high quality game

Never played one. Which one is a good starting point?

7 - 10 if you like turned based combat.

Honestly? Start with FF7 Remake if you got a PS5. Most modernized version of the games and easy to get into. Combat can be a bit daunting at first but you get used to it very quickly.

Yea I can respect that. I just think the OG shows its age A LOT more to me now and I just prefer the Remake a lot more. Obviously the story changes are a bit odd but I’m still excited to see how Part 3 concludes.
