Nah, while that's a possibility, and yeah, he's definitely been thinking about whatever it is he wants to do next, I think he's just as excited for this project to be heard around the world, as we are to hear it.

Just interesting to think about. On a side note, if he does drop the Weeknd name, which I'll believe when I see it, I'm wonder if any of his advisors think that's a bad career move. Being hyper successful under that moniker, then change it. Hm. Well other artists have done it. Its usually some shortened form of their original name though.

As someone who has yet to release a project yet because I keep getting sidetracked by other ideas, and changing my new vision, I think it’s absolutely possible he checked out mentally, but feels obligated to end the Trilogy.
I mean, if “The Weeknd” is all about him being in a bad place and the music reflecting that, he’s clearly not in a bad place anymore (thankfully) so he might actually just really wanna make some “Able” music now.
I don’t think it’s that, but it is possible

There’s a warehouse right now somewhere in America with hundreds of thousands of physical copies of this album just sitting inside, that’s kinda funny to think about
