I tried to ask ChatGPT about when this has happened before when we had an album cover and title and no release date.
It gave me three examples and one was Carti which is irrelevant because he changed the name and has changed vision several times.
The other two are from this year:

Normani

Both revealed their album titles and covers in February and then the release dates in April and the albums dropped in June...
