Instead of doing a traditional deluxe that drops like a week later, they drop a “digital deluxe” on their web store that includes an extra track or two, sell it for like $4.99, and then drop multiple versions, each with different exclusive tracks.

Taylor did it this year, Ye did it with Vultures 2, and Travis (infamously) did it with the Days Before Rodeo re-release. Other mainstream artists have done it as well.
