    what 😭

Artists usually don’t lead with the “best” single or songs they think can become the biggest, if you start too hot then every single after will be seen as weaker

This is why I had to cave and just block this dude

  • TheFader

There is absolutely zero chance that the album is ONLY 10 tracks.

At the VERY least it’ll be 14-15

That’s what I said or meant. All previewed songs + singles and maybe some interludes and you have 14 tracks. I hope I’m wrong tho but nothing this roll out was expected so far.

All Abels albums starts with the worst single lol except for dawn fm

  • TheFader

Which is why an 11/22 or 11/29 album drop makes a lot of sense right now.

BUT we can never be sure with this rollout.

I do find it very unlikely though that he just goes ghost for 2-3 months and then pops back up with the album. The rollout’s been in full force ever since Halloween

It’s not only that but also a feeling .. his way of teasing also on his story’s the album must be very very very close now

They acting like I’m crazy but if you look at all of his albums he’s never really dropped the “biggest” song first. Starboy is the only exception you can really make

  • This edging did its work tho gotta admit I hate this roll out to the max but I never ever been so curious/excited to listen to a full project. Just can’t wait what he came up with and how it all blends and sounds together.

You are crazy but you’re right tho I will even go as far to say this happens with all artists in general. Lead singles are never the strongest of an album.

Never drop it 4th either, though

I’ve never even thought of the possibility that he’s already given us live performances of the entire album.

If that ended up being the case, I would be very very disappointed.

    I feel you.

I know I keep harboring on the Starboy comparisons, but it feels like he employed the exact same single rollout strategy almost to a T.

    • 1st Single: Song for the radio (Starboy/Dancing in the Flames)

    • 2nd and 3rd Singles: Song catering to the rap/R&B crowd (Party Monster/Timeless) and an unconventional pop/dance song (False Alarm/SĂŁo Paolo)

    • 4th Single: Another pop song for the radio, but feels the biggest and arguably the best of all four singles (I Feel It Coming/Open Hearts)

I don’t know if this was all intentional or not, but it’s very interesting how Starboy became his most popular album over the past two years or so, and then the rollout for Hurry Up Tomorrow seems to be mirroring the rollout for Starboy so closely

Just got word that “THE CROWD” is going to be a live-only exclusive a la Birds Interlude according to sources at LiveNation… It’s over.

I really really wonder what the thought process is for not revealing the date, especially when artists left and right are announcing album release dates for the next three months.

I don’t think it’s a thing where a date still isn’t concrete, for an album of this caliber they’ve definitely had the date locked in for a while, just so puzzling why it hasn’t been revealed yet
