im indifferent on the stage name dillema. i think he'll end up sticking with weeknd and killing the character like he said in the interview. on the other hand, Abel Tesfaye would be cool. just think with him (and republic) obviously caring about the marketing and commerciality, they won't go the stage name dropping route, it'd kill his commerciality

Man…I knew the day would eventually come, but seeing him say it for himself is still kinda surreal. With having such a deep emotional attachment, I feel like his lyrical expression has been consistent with what I’ve been through over the years (not to sound like I’m selfishly schizo posting, and obviously not mirroring 100%) and seeing him mature and shed The Weeknd persona in the near future is going to be a seriously emotional moment for me

I still think he’ll make music in the future, definitely as him name as well. He’s too much of an artist to just quit. Maybe a break of a few years, s*** maybe even that Ethiopia trip that I know a lot of people here been trying to will into existence. But it’s just surreal to me tbh. Especially with the lost voice event being a engine for his thought process
