I love Kiss Land but vocally, you can tell he was gaining strength vocally. His vibrato was weak, and wavering, some held notes you can tell his falsetto was still gaining strength and learning how to control and master it. Adaptation is an example of this, great song, my favorite but “so pure, let the love that’s so uncut…” is weak and wavering, especially compared to now. Even compared to BBTM, there’s a significant difference, each album he gets better.
