Acoustic version of DITF is bliss

Snowchild - we have him falling into a black hole - The Abyss (great movie, now in my top 5, please watch it) this plays into the whole purgatory with him watching himself thing (ITSE)

TMB starts with him turning around and going into the “light” or the near Dawn and Horizon. Where he finds himself in familiar territory at the club, where he gets seduced by a Woman and introduces him to a type of d***, another sin and pleasure. (It’s a looooooooop) Dragging him in a similar manner as the AH short film (I’m still trying to mentally sort out the connection here) This ends with him, as we know passing out, where he ends up regaining consciousness.

Sacrifice, we see him passed out hearing the voice of, whom we can safely assume is a bad guide, welcoming him to purgatory and guiding him to “the light”. When he comes to, continuing where we left off in TMB, he doesn’t even have time to sort out what happened before he’s dragged off by the “angels” or imperial guards. He’s then tied and held down on a spinning circle, open to torture and whatever they desire. Where we see a Woman that somewhat represents who I see as Sathariel, taking his youth and life force and draining him of his spirit essentially. (Even though he is already a spirit) He then becomes an old man who is forced to sing and entertain the legion of “angels” or imperial guards. Where they all “die” similarly to how everyone dies in the Dawn FM Experience. He walks out and escapes the torture space he found himself held in.

Dawn FM Experience, after walking out of the torture space, he finds himself in another space after wandering around for what I could assume is a while, exhausted and drained. He enters this club like space where a bright light shines on him and he realizes he’s stuck to entertain and passes out from both shock and utter exhaustion from the past two events that have transpired. When we next see him, he has in-ears, is in a bit better shape and is performing, he walks up the stairs and enters a club atmosphere, trapped again in a familiar life and space. Here we see him in the crowd, we also see OPN donning a mask similar to the one Abel later ends up having put on him. Which leads me to believe that Jim, the narrator, isn’t a good person and he’s being lead away from “the light”. As he performs TMB at the end he lays down and is lowered into a room of mirrors, forced to face himself, and his “demons” if you will-the abyss. During Sacrifice while lowered and facing himself the crowd disappears, the souls are gone and vanquished and all that is left are the “angels” who sway, similarly to the souls at the end when they’re in the trance listening to the narrator/radio DJ. Afterwards he’s left by himself, to perform OOT, realizing he’s stuck, in the abyss only to gaze at himself and the demons he’s left himself to face. His own past and his thoughts, after being left by himself, he rises back to an empty club, just him and OPN, where he continues to perform or so he thinks. When ITSE starts, the Angel shows up to dance in a longing, mocking and almost idolizing manner while he disassociates. Then Starry Eyes starts and he’s surrounded by the angels and they dance almost mocking him and what he had gone through on earth to get there, his experiences in Vegas. While also idolizing him and “worshipping” him, then the souls return to party again during Less Than Zero. Where afterwards Jim leads everyone into a trance and leads them into “the light” with the angels gone to receive their souls possibly? Abel walks out unsure of what to make of everything, confused, not ready to let go and finish his loop.

Gasoline, we see Abel driving away from the club, trying to getaway as far as he can. This time with earbuds to block out the ringing that he heard previously, when they start to freak out and he crashes again, he then gets out and ends up in a club again. He smiles thinking he knows better this time, but we also see that there’s another Abel, he’s caught up with the other loop. This younger Abel sees the older Abel as a zombie/scary other person that is staring him down in this club, people are dancing, having intercourse. We see young Abel crying as he realizes he’s stuck and doesn’t want to do this anymore, he wants to leave but also doesn’t. We also see a lotus flower bloom, representing the evil that is born here that controls him, on earth especially. He’s stuck but likes it, he doesn’t want to sacrifice, when he sees old Abel, whom he doesn’t see as old Abel. He begins to stomp him out, punching him at first, fighting him, everyone around mocks him and laughs. Stopping to watch as he is knocked down, the lotus flower wilts, its power dying, representing the dying soul this is Old Abel from Earth. Young Abel is happy, proud of what he’s done, laughing and stomping on Abel’s face, leaving him to gargle in his own blood and the puddle, as his face is split.

Out of Time, follows him in the Hospital, he’s been picked up by the spirit guide/narrator/surgeon to “fix him” and hold him in purgatory to continue his loop. He begins to dream about his “true/one love” in an Hotel, although we hear his breathing in surgery, and slowly he himself tries to wake his dream self up. Trying to get out of the d*** induced state he’s in due to surgery, he does eventually come to and sees he isn’t his younger self and is still without youth. The mask that was on OPN is now placed on him, as the surgeon tells him he may forget his own name, and before he can dwell in that house forever, that loops there’s more easy relaxation/listening “on 103.5 Dawn FM” with a blank yet menacing face.

ITSE, finds Abel with his new mask, and sudden more youthful state, watching another loop of himself go on a date and bring her/she brings him back. Where she seduces and dances for him, I believe this is someone who, like the woman in the TMB video is connected to/works with the Angels. Someone also stuck in purgatory, forced to do their bidding, while Masked Abel spies, and watches, towards the end she looks out the window and invites masked Abel over after loop Abel leaves. He runs over only to find the hotel room/apartment empty and he’s back in the same room he just ran out of. Stuck in a loop, another lesson to learn, this makes me think this is another one of those dreams he has like in OOT, a younger look, but still masked. As in HDIMYLM? he’s in the hospital bed, and that’s a whole different storyline, that doesn’t add up to the last video that is ITSE. I personally believe these two videos are released out of order, but have an order storyline wise.

HDIMYLM?, we find Abel waking up post surgery and recovery, ready to escape, just tired of everything. He falls out of bed, notices he did have a mask placed on him, those “dreams” weren’t dreams. He tries running past hospital staff, we see the devil laying a few beds down from him. The staff grabs him and tries to stop him from escaping, tearing a limb in the mean time. Revealing the arm of Baby Abel, he’s becoming ready to leave and go through rebirth. A moth, symbolising transformation lands in his “reborn hand”, he then jumps out the window, falling and injuring himself more, he walks to a car. A scared woman driving the car screams after moths fly out of the mask holes where his eyes and mouth would be, symbolizing his need for change. She punches it and drives him into the light pole, injuring him more again, a giant gust of wind appears and we see people and cars flying past Abel. We then see a giant moth causing this, the final transformation calling, his “lost love” falls into his arms, or so he thinks. He picks her face up and notices she’s a balloon, dressed in the red suit from his time on earth in Vegas, he inflates her and she transforms into his former self. Representing his over inflated sense of self and ego, that wants the “guts and glory” that wants to suffocate and stop him from his final steps into transformation. Abel then runs away, as he walks off, suddenly the walls close in and the devil tries to stop him, he has unfinished business still, not wanting him to escape. Abel breaks free, losing another limb, he ends up in an elevator to the complex where his “lost love” lives. We see her in her complex, trimming off the dead roots, symbolizing his limbs and now dying/dead past. He loses his arm trying to crawl to her, showing his strength and desperation. Then he loses his last limb and long tie to his former self, his leg. He reaches her door and begins to aggressively knock with his face/mask, trying to break the disguise and life of someone else he had been living. When she opens the door, his mask has broken into pieces, the final moths fly away and escape, she doesn’t recognize him and she slams and locks the door. His head falls off, rolling away from him, we see Baby Abel crawl out of his chest, showcasing his heart’s desire. He finally has transformed and is finished, ready to move on to the next stage, desiring for tomorrow to hurry up.

Just revisiting After Hours. I never noticed how big of a hit Save Your Tears was. I know it was a hit but damn a billion views on YouTube lol
