i hope all you tory lamez fans putting money on dudes books because you not helping him being wrong #onhere
I wouldnât be surprised if there is another video.
Able is big on visuals and wants to put his best foot forward for this era, and I think the consensus on the video is that it was underwhelming.
I think the only thing that would stop it is if there is some type of contract with Apple that forced the current one to be the ONLY one.
Not that the video was that bad, but when I watched it, it felt like a teaser to a real video rather than the video itself.
Idk.
Song is good, and he is a music artist first and foremost, so Iâm taking this as a W either way
agree. alone at prom is STRICTLY an 80's album sound wise. its like he's literally traveling to the 80's and making that type of music. whereas after hours and dawn fm have 80's INFLUENCE with mainly modern synths and sounds throughout the albums. theres a big difference and thats why its so annoying when people make statements like "tory had the better 80's album". well yea no s*** becuase he honed in on the 80's sound more LMAO
Yeah AH and Dawn FM are not trying to be 80s album. They are just very influenced by the sounds of that era.
Tory has the most generic fkn 80s sound
I think that's the pretty much the point
Shot on iphone 16 pro
Yea we can tell
Also, does this have anything to do with the storyline hes been building lmfaoooo
Good song tho
It sounds a bit fuller. The studio versions sounds a bit to clean. The melodies are nice, I like the synth lead but something is missing.
âToo cleanâ is a good describer for it.
I love Max Martin, but I notice that some of his mixes are so polished and clean that it sometimes feels a bit sterile.
Still though, I think Ableâs songwriting and vocal performance saves it for me

I feel this, the synth leads are great but it lacks a certain punch
The hook is also so prominent and a bit repetitive on this song
One thing I feel would make his new music better is more variation in song structure, not that every song should be some abstract artsy nonsense. This is the single btw
i hope the bruno mars single outperforms this in the long run
i hope bruno drops soon
he has like 30 total solo songs and they all hits lol crazy
I think this will end up being bigger than TMB, Sacrifice, etc. but under Blinding Lights.
Like, a little less than Save My Tears is my guess.
I think it will hit number 1, but it will be, for lack of a better term, escapable.
Blinding Lights had more punch in the lowend and also that thundery urgent drive when it leads into the last chorus
You're gonna sit here and tell me that new Weeknd song is better than this?
go listen to tory bro idk what to tell you

Exactly.
Part of the reason why I am a dirty Trilogy/Kiss Land fan is because there is so much variation in song structures on those projects.
One song will be a lowkey, ambient, moody thing with a poppy hook and rap feature (The Zone), followed by an energetic, soaring number with a drum line of all things (Birds Pt 1) followed by a very formless, but also very emotional, almost collage of sound (Birds Pt 2).
I love After Hours and Dawn FM, but while there is still some variety, I feel like many of the songs can be easily described as âpop songsâ without needing much more description.
That makes sense, since heâs a pop star now, but I sometimes miss the old ways.
song gonna go hard as f*** in the shower tomorrow morning i know that for sure
