I know he was listening to the Blade Runner soundtrack & watching horror movies during the Kiss Land era and that seemed to inspire him on how the album would sound.

I do tend the think the kind of art he watches & listens to during the album creating process does reflect what the album will be like stylistically in one way or another.

ngl if Abel getting in his 80's sci-fi bag this going to be my favorite Abel album
