This rollout and the teasing of it and the drones no release date or knowing when he will say something of value next by Iheart music festival is a sour note to a great performance

A little disappointed because I personally do not like when an artist finishes many older songs for an album yet alone a final album vs taking their life experiences since then to create something entirely new for entire audience

as far as this specifically, this has always happened and sometimes, artists will say themselves, the best songs are those that were cooked and reworked over time. the real issue (if we wanna call it that) is we as an audience have so much access to the artists and their process these days. we know whatever they share they're working on, how long its existed, what changes its gone through. it's really cool from one perspective, but i can see the other side of it as well.

love that, i still struggle to find a balance between listening to abel and other artists and new (to me) music. don’t get me wrong, i love lots of other artists and music and love discovering new s***, but abel just has something in his music that satisfies me on a different level
