why would a single drop less than 1 month before the album and then get over showed by another single when the album drops

that's pretty much what always happens these days. singles don't really get worked like they used to. 4 weeks is plenty, especially since (if we're talking numbers) an album drop while your single is still charting high will only give it more of a boost.

i'm not gonna be disappointed if this doesn't drop next month btw. s***, it could be coming in 2025. we really don't know anything lol

Correct me if i'm wrong, but After Hours had a 4 month rollout and Dawn FM had a 5 month rollout right? I just don't think he'd have a shorter rollout than those two for his FINAL album as the weeknd

he dropped Take My Breath 5 months prior but the Dawn FM "rollout" was just like an ig post the week of lol
