I feel like album drops the day before the concert and the concert is one big promo lol

I don't see him dropping it that early before it, but I don't see how this special concert isn't promo for the album and we don't get it right before it.

I say it either drops the 6th or its played at the concert and is dropped the following week 13th in the case it doesn't drop beforehand.

It still blows my mind that he’s not seen across the board in this regard. Feels like some people still overlook and underrate him. He should have the kind of reverence that a Beyonce, Kanye, Frank, etc. type artist gets but he just doesn’t

Possibly, or it could be a Kanye type situation where he premieres/performs new songs for the first time and the event is just promo for the album’s release date. I really can’t see him dropping a new album with no single out that soon

I’m obsessed with the part when he sings the first “fades to black” with those channel changing dark ass synths in the back on top of the Scarface sample. This s*** sounds insane man

It could’ve been… if Dawn FM didn’t have an underwhelming commercial performance.

That’s my favorite Weeknd project but I’m sure the label was not happy with how it performed, partly due to its’ surprise release.

I really doubt they let him do that again, especially for what’s being touted as the final Weeknd album
