He is literally starting from ground zero everytime he does these stunts. The casual fans don't care about a***yzing IG stories about old cartoons or games that can be references to the current era...We do as die hard fans...
They are used to popstars teasing s*** and then it's for a commercial for some random product so it's whatever for them when he posts something and it turns out to be nothing yet.

But us OG's we are older now, some of us have jobs and maybe even kids...

The rollout is extremely exciting and climatic but truthfully its main audience is for the general public, not for us folk

I have no doubt he’ll continue to make music past The Weeknd, but I’m sure he wants everyone to cherish this last era. And with that comes patience and potentially a lot of scrapping and rewriting
