That doesn't matter. They'll just nominate someone else. The Weeknd doesn't matter nearly as much as he thinks he does. Artists have been speaking out against the Grammys for decades and they're still here. Grammy Night is still the biggest night in music. Same way Oscar night is the biggest night in film despite all the boycotts over the years.

The Weeknd choosing to not submit his music just crosses one more name that they'd have to consider off their list.
