I was a fan of the new cover as well, but I do agree the OG cover fits better as the conclusion to the trilogy

I wonder if future pressings of the complete version LP are gonna have that cover

Usually im not upfront with my theories but since before HUT released he kind of gave me the feeling that HUT was not the only storyline for "the long goodbye" for The Weeknd.
I don't wanna make a too long of a post ... But basically back then there was several clues of him doing multiple endings/timelines. (These are just

Dawn had an Alternate World release.

Before HUT he was posting cryptic tweets about being "here" and "then there" (almost as if a character is going back and forth in time and place... And then him deleting every tweet until before the AH release)

Him only playing games with several endings (Nier Automata/Persona 5)

it's a great theory but im so over this HUT timeline. he was clearly over this era too, so i don't see why he would in any way reference it/continue it. the best thing he can do is lock in and finally deliver a fully realized MUSIC focused project again.

I think that's coming too... But I don't mind getting a smaller project that is more cohesive (especially visually) to what AH and Dawn was... I feel like HUT completely deviated from the storyline following loosely the Divine Comedy
