is "slop" becoming the new aimless buzzword to describe music that we simply aren't a fan of ?
Anyone who thinks Dawn FM can be described as âslopâ has zero taste whatsoever

OPN bringing up Abel in new Pitchfork interview:

It was around this time I was starting to work with the Weeknd. In our Venn diagram, Enya firmly sits in the middle. So I was listening to a lot of Enya myself and I was imagining a dark, thorny, fragmented version of it

Off topic here but do you you guys consider MDM a part of the BBTM + Starboy era?
No, I think of it as a prologue to AH if weâre talking about structuring his discog as a narrative

also that doc was still close with abel up until 2018. he was in australia with him during the last starboy shows. and he's credited on ascap for privilege + there's pray for me and even over now demos which are from that time.
still wonder if they had a fallout or something? because it was so sudden when they stopped working.
im still hoping for Doc + OPN in the future

Of course they had a fallout, I think theyâve always opposed each other idealistically in certain ways. And Doc is always about being personable and real, those Starboy sessions werenât just linking up for nostalgia. Thatâs why I think theyâll always respect each other but not ever collab again.
