i don't get it. what difference does it make if he dances or not lol.
Dancing and music literally go together. It would just make his live performances more special but that doesn't matter if you just stream his music from Spotify

make em more special
mf would lipsync and do box steps. i dont care for that at all. i much prefer the fact he sings every note live and focuses on the theatricality. i don't think there's another pop artist that does it like him

It makes a huge difference performance wise my guy lmao. I’m not saying Abel should dance I’m just putting the hypothetical out there.

It just sounds like you ain't into that genre but believe me performing is a incredible form of art just as much as the music itself. There's a reason MJ, Beyonce or Bruno Mars have such dedicated fans for touring. they've tapped into that market. Just because you think Abel might lipsync doesn't mean he can't learn to sing while dancing like the others (assuming he practices breathing control and exercise)
I always wonder what peoples perspective of Abel’s career would be like if he could dance
He'd probably be more well liked lmao
I remember that being a big complaint with his SuperBowl performance because he didn't dance and s***
but to people who are fans of his, we knew he made up with insane visual presentation since he cant dance.

Even if he had natural moves his music was just never fit for that

Imagine the unique choreography he could come up with if he tried that. It's not too late to break into that side of the music and it would be well received on his After Hours Til Dawn tour not to mention the music videos for Dawn we'd get

I feel like some specific songs of his could have some insane choreography to them but yea I get what you mean 100%

I feel like now it’s too late to break into that tbh lol. It would just be awkward seeing Abel trying to dance this late in his career.

now that I think about it that’s true, I wonder if he has anything like that scrapped

Well if he waits until the album after the Dawn era when he's 35 or whatever then yeah I agree its too late. I don't know any dancers who started that late in life but its not impossible if he wants it
If Arca is producing this is it possible she also had a hand in producing the snippet for the tour announcement? Both have a similar reversed feeling to it

not all music should be danceable. that's just a stupid thing to say.

Good thing no one said that.
"DANCING and MUSIC literally go TOGETHER". No they don't. The danceable music concept started in the 80s.

Holy f*** am I being trolled rn
People have been dancing to music for over a thousand years I can't believe I have to explain that. Maybe the actual 80's like 80 AD but not the 1980s if I'm reading your words correctly

there's a difference between people dancing to music in a rituals, and danceable music. The danceable music concept is music made with the only objective to dance. Danceable music is a concept that started in the 80s.

music in most part of history wasn't "DANCEABLE". that wasn't the purpose. Music didn't LITERALLY go along DANCING, until last decade.
