Sure that’s great for him but let’s be honest, the general public isn’t fiending for new Weeknd music lol they just simply haven’t had the chance to in the last 2 years!! BL and Heartless came out in November 2019, and he’s dominated the charts ever since.

Part of the reason why the After Hours return was so grand was because there was little to no noise from him before the singles and promo started, so those two singles felt like true MOMENTS. I have a feeling this album, as great as it will be, won’t strike the same chord with the GP like After Hours did. I have a feeling it’ll drop and it’ll just be like “oh look more Weeknd music…”

At this point I’m just happy for more music, The Dawn was likely delayed so I’m just in the mindset of welcoming anything new that comes in the meantime
