Just finished binging Spider-Man TAS,gonna watch Samurai Jack next,and I might just spin Batman TAS

Samurai Jack has to be one of my favourites. Minimalism at it's best!

I just watched this video recently about the way they used minimalism in the show so that made me decide to rewatch it.

I remember watching that video when it came out (when I was still sketching out ideas for my own album).
I was binging the whole Spiderman Morbius arc around that time. So iconic when Peter transforms

oh man,those episodes with Morbius were AMAZING

I dont think it holds up with Batman TAS,but some of the arcs were INSANE.

Animation is really an underrated format

The late 90's - early 00's were truly the golden age of animation
If they ever do a Metroid animation series I hope they go the Samurai Jack route

Not to sound like an oldhead too much but drawing frames is really superior to digital.

Especially this new cheap way of churning out s***ty animation that has no flavor nor its unique in any way.

Digital can be great if there is some thought behind it,but nothing beats drawing that s***!

The purpose of digital is not to make you more lazy, it's supposed to enhance the work, so you can focus your energy in other areas (same goes for all AI technology).
That's why Studio Ghibli regin supreme for me. The level of expression
