Because he always promoted Dawn as a companion piece to After Hours, and it was primarily to hold fans over until the tour finally starts since that tour was supposed to start over 2 years ago. This album probably wouldn’t exist if the tour had started on time back in 2020 when it was supposed to.

He always talked about Dawn as if it was a second half to AH rather than a middle part of a trilogy

Makes sense but I feel like story wise even if this was longer he wouldn’t be able to wrap it up
