Y’all think there’s anything that would ever get Abel to make full on “Trilogy” music again?

if he falls off cataclysmically, I could see it, but anyone wishing that on the guy is beyond help

I wonder if he still CAN do that eventhough he claims he can make it in his sleep. Think he underrates how layered and unique that music was. He could make a Trapsoul in his sleep but idk about something like Trilogy again

I dont see how it would sound forced if he made an album full of Here Comes The Sun's?

it is layered. but a completely different sound. he tried to make ''darker rnb'' type stuff on bbtm and starboy too but it was so watered down compared to trilogy

Still a very different sound imo since no dreampop / indie influences and more direct to the point / less layered but yeah MDM is pretty much flawless to me

I don’t think he could, solely down to the fact he’s just in a completely different headspace these days.

The rawness and grittiness that he showed in Trilogy just isn’t there; in its stead is refined, honed in pop-R&B to a masterful standard.

Neither is particularly better than the other — both are very high spikes in his career — but in the way he could never make Trilogy again, early Abel is never making a Dawn FM.

YES, this is exactly what I was thinking but couldnt properly type it out. Like, even his voice is trained now and lost that rawless of early Abel. Both Trilogy and Dawn are peaks, just completely different
